Recycled-orama Crafts

With two 11-yr olds visiting - love you, my nephews, when boredom strikes what works for them and 4 yr olds? ... A free-for-all with materials provided by our ever interesting recycling bin. This combined with scissors, felt markers, dot paints and glue keep them all busy. C made a "hat" with a toilet paper roll and pom-poms?!? The older boys opted for bird houses/traps --maybe inspired by our Sunday visitors last week? E worked on some robots.

Great Reads - Not a Box by Antoinette Portis

Note - No birds were harmed in this activity, or after this activity - the traps, despite sunflower seeds availed no visitors.

Hee hee - you make me laugh. Looks like lots of fun! Your floor turned out really cool looking, BTW!
