I apologize I have been having problems pre-posting pictures before the blog text. So here is the story with this one....(see next post for my new pincushion from my cute partner - Lacylike)
I jumped into the most fun Pin-Cushion Swap at Freckled Nest. (a favourite read of mine). When I was piecing together scraps in different ways trying to come up with the design I ended up with a few "samplers" and decided to use both patterns and add a needle book too (always handy) I had just got some new pins (I know my life is so exciting) and they were so cute and matched perfectly I put some in the needle book.

This fabric is Moda's Hello Betty Retro that my mom gave me for Christmas. I'm working on a quilt with it that hopefully I'll share someday.

The pin cushion you got in your swap was cute too!
My mom gave me that exact same fabric for Christmas. Do you think they planned that? I haven't had time to do anything with mine yet but I do have a plan. It'll be fun to compare our two quilts from the same fabric!
