Pincushion Exchange

I can't say enough how excited I was to get this package in the mail.. Upon opening it, was the sweetest little box tied with a bright yellow ribbon.

It is such a beautiful, hand-stitched pincushion.  Isn't it adorable?  It is the cutest size and so handy right by my machine to put pins in as I'm sewing.  How cute is the heart pinned in it?  It reminds me of the Japanese Zakka I love. 

Speaking of love, I LOVE my swap partner, it has been so fun to read her blog Lacylike.  She is happy, inspiring, creative and projects a lot of positive energy. I don't know about eating grasshoppers, but she is embracing life. I have enjoying getting to know her a bit over email and her blog and am so glad to have made a new friend!
