For some more exploring we took a little field trip in Seattle. On the northwest corner of Jackson Street and Second Avenue is a small National Park with big opportunities for little explorers to experience the Gold Rush northbound and great news - no entrance fees!
Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park
This park is also part of the Junior Ranger Program and they have a little passport you can buy for $0.50 and do brass rubbings and embossing stations around the displays.
You can spin the wheel of fortune and see if you would have been one of the few who struck it rich.

It was fun to learn about gold, what it is used for and how much we were each worth our weight in gold, let's just say I am very valuable.
