A simple cape, a Mexican wrestling mask, an appliqued letter shirt - for super E and super C and some toilet paper wrist bands make great super heroes. The basic costumes were actually created for Halloween almost 3 years ago. After running to the rescue in dish towels for several months, I decided they needed something official. The boys picked a favourite colour and what their super powers were. E can control the weather and shoot lightning. C has "hot lava" powers (and yes his shirt resembles the logo of a fav hockey team). The wrestling masks were added later from a trip south of the border - how did the match so perfectly? the stars must have been aligned. The most recent addition to the outfits are the wristbands. They are such a hit I will have to have a separate post about them...

your kids have the coolest things!
Adorable. My boys would go nuts over this!
Those. are. AWESOME! I think I will have to make letter shirts for Christmas, it's not too early to start thinking about that! (and the way I sew, it will take me that long)

The boys look awesome! Can't wait until you are closer so we can see your craftiness in person more often!
