You should see the other guy...

When I first saw C, I thought his face was covered in bruises...some closer inspection revealed sparkly bruises (as in make-up). I thought he looked bad until I went to my vanity. That's where the real damage was. Yikes. Luckily, I didn't like that lipstick anyway and it was a free-with-purchase. The eye-liner however was my fav and about half my shadow is missing. Missing from its compact, but accounted for in dusty, messy piles, mixed with lipstick around the sink and on the floor. urggghh.

Gotta love it. I don't know how many $$$ of make-up my kiddos have destroyed. He may have a future in special effects though. That does look like some pretty convincing bruising.

Adam loves to play with my makeup brushes! Luckily, he's not tall enough - yet - to reach the makeup in the closet. It really does look like C has two black eyes!

I thought they were bruises too, yikes! You gotta love all the documented (via photo) make-up days. Make-up and markers...NO NO'S and yet so tempting to these little ones~

LOL! I had to double comment after reading Jo's comment about the haircuts. When Russell was 3 1/2 and Brooke was 2, he chopped her long locks into a sporty new mullet. Just grabbed a handful of hair right at the top of her head and cut it about an inch from her scalp. (business in the front- party in the back.) We had no choice but to invest in a bunch of cute hats.

My boys did these things occasionally. With Meara, however, it's inevitable if I leave stuff where she can get it. Although when she's the culprit, most of the makeup ends up on her - which is something, as she's at least washable.

Oh boy! He did some nice work! I thought he had done a header off his bike or something. Hopefully the mess wasn't too hard to clean up :)

Jen's right. With Meara it is inevitable. The last time that I watched her, she managed to find Brooke's nail polish and paint her face. I thought she was being good as gold playing with Brooke's doll house until she said, "I'm pretty." and I noticed the chemical smell of paint. Luckily, it washed right off. Aren't I a fabulous baby-sitter? ;-)

Yikes! I never thought I'd have to worry about my son being interested in getting into my makeup! It's enough to just keep Sofia away!
