These two robots are also puppets (square kleenex boxes with construction paper exteriors) Pom Pom and painted egg cartons make the eyes. Very easy to make, fun to decorate (markers and stamps) and I often find them guarding the boys valuable treasures. This morning I woke up to find one next to me on my pillow (I just had surgery on my ankle) E told me his was on the lookout for bad guys for me - ahhh I didn't know robots could be so sweet!

Robot books - maybe not what you are looking for, but all those animated movies about robots have books - "Robots" and now Wall-E.
I love that the robot's 'guard' the valuables! Cute idea :)
I'm glad to know that you are being protected not only by robots but that your son's are looking out for you. Take care of your ankle and let your family (robots included) take care of you.
