I used to make mailboxes as a child and I loved drawing pictures and writting notes to my family members, but mostly I remember loving to get mail in my own box. We made these mailboxes a few days ago:
We just used some small boxes from the recycle bin and covered them with paper and stickers. We even got Dad to make one :)
I made a little invitation to put in J's mailbox last night to invite her to a Cookie party!
We had pink lemonade and cookies and read Cookies, Bite sized life lessons By Amy Krouse Rosenthal. It is such a cute little book, It explains words/emotions in reference to cookies! A few of my favorites are:
Co operate means, How about you add the chips while I stir?
Patient means, waiting and waiting for the cookies to be done. A few more minutes. Aren't I waiting so nicely?
Trustworthy means, If you ask me to hold your cookie until you come back, when you come back, I will still be holding your cookie.
Regret means, I really wish I didn't eat so many cookies.
Cute idea!
