So it started with 2 plates, one dinner and one salad, a creamy white with a blue design, sitting all by their lonesomes at a garage sale, for sale for $2. How could I say no to these? The rest of the morning, I was on a hunt.
I had seen these highlighted on Martha and had wanted to make some ever since.
I still needed a couple of things. The best thing is, they don't exactly have to match just sort of go together. I found a white milk-glass bowl - a perfect base for the dinner plate - $0.25
Next a short, white porcelain candle stick - $0.05 - that's right a nickel.
3 garage sales,. $2.30 add some epoxy glue, dry over night - Voila!
Now what I really need is some cupcakes, or cake, or brownies, or...
What a clever idea--I love it!
