I used to give books to teachers - now it is so great with gift cards, you don't have to worry about whether they already have the book or not. They can get whichever one they want.
Very cute teacher gift, I'm so glad I found your blog. I'm a Box Tops mama, too. With $25 I could buy some Klutz books and some of those melty beads... always great for hours of entertainment!
Those little box tops are pretty amazing things! I know my son's school has earned a lot of money through them. I would buy something to entertain my kids during summer vacation, arts and crafts, pool toys...
Your framed quote is great! Into my to-do list! As for your giveaway I will certainly buy craft item to play with ids in this coming summer vacation. Thanks! Deborah
I love this! My husband is an elementary teacher and it's so hard to find decorations and gifts that are "manly" enough. This fits the bill perfectly! Thanks!
Hi! Firemoon Tigger ...That is a good question and I had to do a little research on it. In fact I found it the quote is from Eeyore, not Pooh (which makes sense from the tone of it) and it is from The House at Pooh Corner (chapter 5)
That is SOOO cute! Might be copying you...
ReplyDeleteWhat a super cute idea, I may have to copy that one for sure. Who doesn't love the wisdom of Winnie the Pooh!

This is brilliant - we will definitely do this for a teacher's gift. We love Winnie the Pooh and can't quote chunks of it around here.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this! I just made one for my daughter's first kindergarten teacher. We'll heading to orientation in about an hour. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great and beautiful way to honor a teacher! Just posted on Craft Gossip!!

ReplyDeleteCould you share where this Quote comes from? You attribute it to Pooh, but what book/movie does it come from?
